Dear AHSTW Community,
We are reaching out to inform you of an ongoing and growing need within our school district as we continue to experience a shortage of bus drivers. In order to maintain our daily bus routes and continue offering the activities and athletic opportunities our students enjoy, we need additional drivers to join our team.
To support anyone interested, AHSTW Community School District will cover the full cost of training for any class of CDL license along with required endorsements and the DOT physical.
· If you already hold a CDL A or B, you only need to obtain the Passenger and School Bus endorsements, which can be completed quickly with district assistance.
We especially encourage parents of student-athletes to consider becoming activity drivers. These routes offer flexibility and compensate you from the time you leave until the time you return, making them an excellent opportunity for those already attending events.
Our current drivers do a wonderful job serving our students each day, but they cannot continue to meet the growing demand alone. Your support is vital to keeping our transportation system strong and ensuring students have access to the programs and experiences they deserve.
