Public Health Measures

Good afternoon,

Guidance was shared by the State of Iowa earlier today in regards to new public health measures.  Youth and high school sporting events were addressed in this release and the expectations will begin on Wednesday, November 11, 2020.

The Western Iowa Conference [WIC] had developed mitigation efforts prior to the release of today’s measures and had decided continue with four spectators per athlete rule for all events.  Those tickets have already been shared with our JH parents.  However, today’s release requires use to reduce the amount from four to two through the month of November.  Please know that we hope to be able to return to four attendees after the expiration of the public health measure.  At this time, we ask that you please determine who will be attending games prior to the event.

The two-spectator measure DOES NOT impact tonight’s game with CAM.  This has been confirmed with them.

Thank you!

Mr. Darin Jones
